• A hot towel and a lather treatment are applied to soften the whiskers on your face.
• Again, a hot towel and lather treatment are applied in order to soften the beard, but also to open the pores.
• At this point, a barber will typically begin to shave your face.
• After the shave, a cool towel is used to close the pores and clean your face.
• An aftershave of some sort is usually applied.
